I was wondering if the pen would give me more control with Photoshop, the answer is, maybe. I saw the Intuis tablets used in some on-line Photoshop training- all the experts use the Intuis. Speed, acceleration, and many other settings are fully adjustable after installing the software.
I've only been using it a couple of days and have absolutely no qualms with the device. Honestly, it is just as I expected it to be - easy to 4460 and a breeze to set up Windows 7 with Photoshop CS5. No Longer Available Update Location close. It is an excellent product.
I had about photos to go through and the pen really made it easy to go through and make the necessary corrections. We will see next time I have a Photoshop-a-thon. The tablet turned out to be very good for my photo editing, but the clicking and dragging function was not so great for editing with Final Cut Pro it was too hard to maneuver. The pen is a little lightweight, but that's a personal preference.

The smaller size of this less expensive starter model doesn't seem to be as big a problem as I was expecting. You can do it all in good style with the Bamboo tablet. While the drawing area is on the small side, the tablet is small enough to go along with the laptop when I travel. Wacom Intuos Inking Pen. Because it was so helpful, and because I have much less space in my NYC apartment, I bought this Bamboo tablet which has a much smaller footprint.
