When I did the experiments in the previous post I noticed the sqaure wave moves slighty by a couple of uS as the demand changes and the actuator moves to a new position.
The board is interfaced to the PC through 2 pins of a parallel port.

This 33FJ32GP can compute the loop in 8us the difference is phenomenal meaning the 33F part is far superior and is so fast it rivals the performance of an analogue positioner card. John, looks pretty good.
