MONACO OPTIX XR WINDOWS 7 DRIVER

Thanks for any help that people can provide! It just ruins every aspect of the picture after the caliberation is done. My colorimiter is the DPT94 version. However, when I tried to install the drivers, it didn't work. Mac users should install version v2.

I plan to start looking at options for a new calibration tool when I can find some time. Gerry, How did you install the new drivers. My PDA, which I purchased inalso needs to be replaced.

The only other possibility may be your UAC settings being set to the strongest setting. Selecting "update driver" also gave me the blue screen of death. Make sure you place a check mark in the box next to Show extracted files when complete.

Click that and wait a minute or so while Windows lists all the programs loaded on your computer. So then found the directions on the xrite website to update the driver for the colorimeter for the vista 64 bit versionsand when Nonaco tried that I got the blue screen of death.

That would be useful to know in case I ever manage to get this to work.

Any time something is changed you should recalibrate. That seems to be working okay. Take a good look at the pdf file included with the drivers.

In the colour temperature tab there is an option 'monitor native'. I don't know if you have run across the thread I potix a few weeks ago http: I have not changed them from whatever was set up on default.

Good for me to know that it isn't just me, but bad because now there are two of us who are frustrated. If you're looking for a high-quality camera, you don't need to opttix a ton of cash, nor do you need to buy the latest and greatest new product on the market.

I didn't realize that there were these driver problems with older hardware and the monacp bit version of windows.
